Ek-fb ga x58 kit ud5

Up for sale is one EK-Full Board Gigabyte X58 KIT. Part no: EK-FB KIT GA X58 - Acetal - Gigabyte. It will not fit my REV 2 UD5 and I cannot return it ship I purchsed it in Europe. I'm selling at an amazing price as you wont find it for less and new ANYWHERE!

MANDATORY PICTURES:

SOLD!!!

Frozencpu.com is the only US retailer I've found that sells this block and they have it for $150 new.

HEATWARE: mlee49 has over 75, all positive heatware evaluations.

DETAILS: The blocks are MINT!! I opened the packaging to find out it will not fit on my board, I did dry fit the mosfet blocks and found out they will not fit my revision. Three ways you can see these are new: 1) the thermal pad isn't cut; 2) the NB/SB block is still securely taped shut; 3) the blocks are in immaculate condition.

EK shows compatibility with the UD4, UD5 and X58 Extreme

This block will fit the UD5A-revision 1.0 since the caps/mosfet design is the exact same!

So UD5/UD5A and UD4/UD4P and X58-Extreme are all covered!

PAYMENT: Paypal preferred for verified accounts. No eChecks cause it takes 3 days to clear. MO is fine, but shipping wont occur until after I cash your check.

TRADES: Looking for an EVGA 470 and Gentel Typhoon fans.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!

Probably not, they released a separate UD7 and separate UD9 block

Yeah, it sucks major I have some pretty white tubing that would have made this board/block look sexy.

Guess I'll keep an eye out for something in the future.

Man, I have a UD5 rev1 also.... this is tempting indeed!

Are you sure this would vit an X58-UD5 rev 1.0?

Ahhhh nvm, mine's X58A-UD5, not EX58-UD5.

System Specs

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel ...

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD5 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s...

The rev 1 and rev 2 of X58A-UD5 should be the same physically, so that's why it would not fit. Not b/c of the revision difference, but b/c it's for a different board entirely.

There is a difference with the power phase design between revisions. The revision 1 has a 12 phase power system and the revision 2 has a 16 phase power system.

The original UD5[no A] has the same 12 phase power design, as well as the UD4/UD4P.

This block is designed around the 12 phase power system for the mosfet blocks.

So compatibility with this block is good for the UD5A.
