Asus 22" 1680x1050 LCD CHEAP! (broken buttons)

DEAL PENDING!!

This is an Asus 22" LCD that does 1680x1050 at 59.99 (60hz) refresh rate. The picture is excellent with absolutely no dead pixels. However, the button panel is pretty much busted. I say pretty much because the power button is missing and the menu button will not register. Asus really cheaped out in this department. So the monitor stays on just fine and you can manage the power settings through Windows or your GPU control panel. If you are handy you could probably fix it since the actual contact point for the buttons are functional. In fact, you can use a small flat head screw driver to turn it on and off if you want.

I am asking $30 plus $20 to ship it using FedEX or UPS anywhere in the CONUS. I also supply tracking info.

Is that by any chance a VW222U? Because I have that monitor and also had some problems with the buttons. The monitor itself is excellent, but those buttons...

yup! same model. i figured Asus cheaped out on that button panel a bit. Thanks for saying the monitor is excellent despite the button panel. It really is a nice monitor, just a shame the buttons suck.
