They are working on some brand new features, most people dont update drivers constantly, so if you don't dont change that, but if everythings blurry, be happy they are cracking on driver fixes at light speed and actually caring, this is a good sign not sure why everyones all pissy about it. Better than them just leaving it broken for months until 10.11's, I don't think they been releasing drivers on a monthly basis, but maybe they have?

once a month is the normal schedule...but in the last two weeks we have had 5 different drivers)10.10, 10.10a, 10.10b, 10.10c , 10.10d), so clearly to official 10.10 driver, as well as the 6-series drivers, weren't really ready for primetime yet.

That's why everyone is upset. how such clearly faulty drivers get WHQL approval, I am not sure, but someone needs to call M$ as smack them upside the head for certifying these drivers.

Nothings ready for else anymore, and it's sad. But many companies will hide and try and come up with a perfect driver to fix everything, while in the meantime everyone is flailing. I'd rather see fixes now, shows me they are trying. Either way, people always complain so it don't matter, I havent even tried MLAA so far yet so meh, I'm happy with my performance in games without it, maybe sometime I'll do a driver wipe and try it out.

This driver is for the 6800 series and suppose to allow MLAA for DX10/DX11. If you insist on using this with the 5800 series (modding it) you may experience input lag.

AMD was not going to push back the 6850 and 6870 release because the drivers were not 100% ready. It's a damned if you do damned if you don't situation but a delay would have been much more disappointing than a month of patched drivers.

I'm on 10.10 WHQL with a 6870 and haven't had any problems with them. Haven't tried a hot-fix yet and probably wont because, as it says on the tin, they are beta drivers, so therefore are likely to have more bugs than a WHQL release. I don't care about MLAA enough to hot-fix for it. I'll wait a few weeks for 10.11.

no it doesn't, the 10.10a/b/c/d were put out specifically for the 6800 series to fix/add MLAA and a couple of enhancements. None of which are geared towards the 5 series or previous.

However if you are using the modded inf to use MLAA on your 5/4k series then the 10.10d is worth a shot as it adds support for dx10/11 so u can use the mlaa function for the likes of bioshock (which looks horrible without it) for example. I also use it for any Unreal 3 engine games like batman arkham asylum/ moh2010.

When the 10.11s are released, just wait 6 hours or so..because the hotfix will be released and that will be the real driver to get rather than the 10.11 officials.

It's been this way for a while lol.
