ZOTAC Unleashes the World’s Fastest DirectX 11 Graphics Card

ZOTAC International, a leading innovator and the world’s largest channel manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards and mini-PCs, today unleashes the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card – the world’s fastest graphics card powered by NVIDIA Fermi architecture. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 delivers a perfect DirectX 11 gaming experience, dominates the competition with world-class performance and delivers unmatched gaming immersion.

Games powered by Microsoft DirectX 11 technology render flawlessly on the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card with unprecedented visual realism and details. Integrated hardware tessellation technology enables the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 series to inject a dose of reality into flat game textures and models for a virtual environment that mimics reality for a greater sense of immersion in hardware tessellation enabled games.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card receives a brand new graphics processor equipped with 512 unified shaders ready to take on the latest games and NVIDIA CUDA-enabled applications for a graphics experience that is ready for work and play. A large 1536MB frame buffer connected via an ultra-wide 384-bit memory interface ensures the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card can render high-quality textures for impeccable graphics realism.

“The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card is the ultimate solution for gamers that crave the absolute best graphics experience. For the first time ever, we’re able to push the performance envelope, lower power consumption for best-in-class energy-efficiency and quieter acoustics all at the same time with the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

NVIDIA 3D Vision readiness prepares the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 for stereoscopic 3D effects in gaming and movies for those ready to take a leap into the third-dimension. Support for NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround and NVIDIA SLI technologies prepares the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 for triple-display gaming with stereoscopic 3D effects when combined with up to three matching graphics cards for the ultimate gaming experience.

A copy of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is included with the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card to let gamers instantly take advantage of the graphics capabilities. Prince of Persia: the Forgotten Sands places gamers in control of the prince to save the royal kingdom of Azad in cinematic masterpiece.

HDMI 1.4a compliance enables the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 to connect to high-definition 3DTV displays for hardware-accelerated Blu-ray 3D playback, x.v.Color, DeepColor and 8-channel digital surround sound when paired with compatible software.

It’s time to play with the phenomenal ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 graphics card.

Memory 384 bit @ 4GHz!? wow!!!
I believe that is a good news for scientific and gamming uses.

Here in Brazil this will be very expensive! Maybe here comes around US$1100~US$1500 and only in 2011. =[

But i'm not ready to use it... no needed for me, more than I can use.

And since we have already seen that 6870 is on power with 5870. 6970 should be better than 580
unlike some people, im not going to post this in every single thread about new GTX 580's.

a GTX 580 is the currently fastest Dx11 GPU. Period. the 5970 is a Dual GPU card so it should be no surprise that it is faster, and the 6970 is not even out yet. For the single gpu cards, Nvidia is still king, and if Nvidia ever makes a Fermi Dual GPU card, Nvidia will reign supreme yet again.

HD 5970 - fastest vcard on the planet - 1 year old - ati, overall performance crown
GTX 580 - fastest single gpu card (for now) - 20 hours old - nvidia, not

IF nvidia could release a dual gpu they would have done it long ago a take performance crown from HD5970.

You know there is something wrong when people start to compare a dual-gpu with a single gpu.

Why is Zotac claiming the fastest card when it looks like the same specs as every other 580 that is also being released today?

This article says fastest card, meaning one board, not one GPU.

Either discuss the product or move on, forget excuses and the comments that have nothing to do with Zotac or a 580.
