CPU, Motherboard, or Graphics Card??

Long story short I have:

i7 920 D0 Stepping
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Motherboard
2X EVGA GTX460 768MB Graphics Card
3X2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3-1600
Seagate 320GB SATA HDD
Tuniq Extreme 120 Cooler

Issue: Random lock-ups with stock clocks on CPU to a point where I can't get it to boot. The GPU is OCd with 800/1600 clocks.

The very same GPU's gave me the same symptom on another rig That rig now has 2 GTX260's and it's running fine. The CPU and RAM were on a X58A-UD7 mobo that I recently sold and they were fine.

So is it the CPU, motherboard, or the video card?

If you could swap the CPU over to the other rig you could really narrow it down. It's not the GPU's as you ruled those out and it really could be either the CPU or the motherboard at this point.

I'm almost positive that it is the motherboard. I won't find out until this Thursday when I start playing with it.

Since the symptoms followed the video cards, start with them.
