System Specs

Question is this right

so i just picked up a m2n-e sli m\b athlon 64 X2 6000 running at 3.0 and 4 gigs of ram at 667MHz for 60 bucks put it all together and the cpu core temps are core 0 -> 29C core 1 -> 20C they are about 10 degrees diff is that normal at all times.

10 is a bit of a stretch, try remounting the heatsink and reapplying thermal paste.

System Specs

multi core sometime report kinda inaccurate, have u tried other apps? What about temp reader from BIOS? Does it report the same thing?
I usually check the heat with my finger =D, it if aint too hot and theres nothing strange happen, i assume it works well, just err on temp reading but you could replace the thermal compund, then test it again
why it reports higher temp, maybe its from IC that inaccurate read the temp

ok i pulled heatsink off put new thermal paste on and it still 9 degree diff tried every temp program i could find and they all say the same thing with in 2 degrees any more help or suggestions from someone smarter than me would be nice
