AMD overclock

Can anyone point me to a guide on how to overclock a AMD athlon 3000+ skt AM2?
And wich are the best value/performance coolers for AM2 in the market?

does overcloking a a k8 is the same as a k9, because for a k8 i can find guides

no K9 exists or will, AMD abandonned this nomenclature. Your's is a K8 for AM2, simply.

Overclocking it is the same as K8 on Socket 939. Do not worry.

Because MSI produces their boards with k9 in the nomenclature for am2 i tought it was called k9

But I'm interested, how much will it overclock??? Please give it a try, for the cause of overclocking!

just changing FSB (using ai booster) it freezes at 1900 mhz, i'am still reading the guide, tomorrow i will say something, my mom doesn't let me have my pc turned on after 23, she evens turn of the electricity if i don't turn off
