9800GT for Physics

For my current system (system specs to the left) would the 9800 be adequately powerful to perform as a physics card? I don't want to spend too much on a physics card since few games would utilize it, yet at the same time I dont' want to get an underpowered card that, at the end of the day, hampers performance.

A 9800 would easily be enough for physx, the general consensus is that an 9600gt or equivalent is sufficient and much more than that could be seen as a bit of a waste.

Don't waste your time, power, or money on a dedicated PhysX card with a GTX470, it won't help one bit. The GTX470 is already powerful enough to handle PhysX on its own with no performance loss from running PhysX, so adding a dedicated PhysX card won't matter. I tried adding a 9600GT and GTX460 to my GTX470 and there was no peroformance improvement at all in any PhysX game.

So, I guess while a 9800GT is more than powerful enough for PhysX, I don't really need to get one. Hmm...guess I'll just save the money in that case.
Thanks guys.

+1 missed he had a 470 you don't need a dedicated card as NT said.
