Well nows a perfect time to update drivers with all the snow! Can't do much so why not get the gpu's runnin good?!

Ya that was my thinking. Just downloaded the drivers and the inf file. So we shall see what happens. Let the fun start. LOL.

It works installed vary fast have to test to see if my fps come up.

Sweet man! Run some games, check the GPU usage and see if your fps increased! Also try running a vantage pass once and see if it went up at all!

plan to when i get back from docs in the am. Have to get some sleep, cancer test are hell. I will have them up in a few days. I ran MSI Kombustor and it showed about 10 fps more than the run before the install so looking good so far.

Dang im sorry about that man Hopefully things get better!

Yeah i love these drivers man! There great Maybe they work better with non fermi cards? We both have non fermi's and don't have anything but great results so far! Maybe that's what their working on over at nvidia and thats whats taking them so long to come out on the desktop platform.

Thanks for the kind words Josh154. Going under the knif on fyiday but just have to roll with it. Ok after spending most of the day with doc and getting my internal back computer reprogramed so i can walk better i was able to do a few test.

Cinebench 11.5 if you look at the ranking #7 was no oc. 6 is with cpu oc. to 3.5 and old gpu drivers and 3 is new drivers. Not bad for a low end card. Then ran 3dmark and gained close to 500 marks also look at the top drivers not supported. Hope to do more in the next few days.

Nice man! Yeah vantage and 3dmark06 tell me their not supported either yet. Thats just cause their made for quadro's and not many people run quadros in 3dmark

I get about 14k in vantage and like 17k in 06. You should try unlocking that 4th core if you can! I think it would boost your scores quite a bit

Ya would Love to unlock the 4th core but have not found a way to do it with my mb bios, I have the current bios update. Here is my setup and settings been looking for a way to unlock it.

Dude that vcore is ridiculous at that clock! That's so high, you must not be clocking something else correct, shoot most people get 4 cores at like 3.8 with less vcore that that. I just looked at your mobo is it a nvidia chipset? If it is you can't unlock on it. It has to have a certain SB to unlock.

Ya it is a nvida gf 8200a. the vcore needed to be at that to be stable with 3 hours of prime 95 and my temps max at 43c and that is with a room temp of 19-20c. Hoping to start a all new build next year with a x6 1100 am3 and give this one to my son.

Hmm have you adjust your HT and those voltages? I used to have a athlon x3 that unlocked to a quad and over clocked it incredibly. It was all on my HT speed though i had it from like 2400 to 2800 and added more voltage there and i could decrease my cpu vcore.

I haven't clocked amd in a while so i forget what all the terminogally is. Im on skt 775 right now and its completely different from intels newest stuff and amd's.

I managed to get my q6600 clocked better at a lower vcore also Im at 3.6 right now at 1.416 under load. Im averaging like 36 gflops and it's 20 runs of ibt stable

Anyways how's them drivers workin? Any crashes or what not? Mine are still running rock solid stable! I haven't had one crash or anything yet!

Thay are rock solid no problems at all. I will play with the ht voltage and see what happens. I am also pushing the oc on the gpu to see how far it will go. I think i can get more with the new drivers.

Yeah well try messing with a few other things and bringing the vcore down. It's really high for 3.5 with 3 cores. We need some better amd clockers in here. OCN has some really good threads over there for clocking amd.

But yeah lets see what them gpu's can do! I barely clocked my 8800gts's higher just cause im trying to keep them rock solid stable for folding. I wanna shoot for 750 core and like 2000 shader.
