AMD Introduces Catalyst 10.12 and 10.12 Preview Featuring Redesigned Control Center

AMD today released its latest version of the AMD Catalyst software suite, Catalyst 10.2 WHQL, as well as unveiled a Catalyst 10.2 Preview driver that lets you use the latest version Catalyst Control Center (CCC) that features a more functional user interface. Apart from that, Catalyst 10.2 introduces DivX Accelerated support for AMD Radeon HD 6800 series GPUs; support for OpenGL 4.1, including new ARB extensions introduced with OpenGL 4.1; and an updated AMD Stream v2.3 API.

LOL!! XviD, DivX, Mpeg4 is the same $hit with different implementation!
So (theoretically) any Mpeg4 encoded movie, can be decoded hardware despite the CC attribute(divx, xvid, etc)

They really need to get a proper designer in on this. It's over glassed, like xp with the zune theme, well even more glassy than that. It's got those really out of place and over the top round bar buttons like safari with the text styling not fitting in at all. It's one of those at first glance it looks better things. In detail, not so much.

No Divx encoding? Just playback? I suppose it's better than nothing, but encoding would be so much more useful.

Dammit, no MLAA for 5800 series cards!?!?!?!?!? WTH.

Wish they included calibration software at this point.

I don't see any difference in CCC. Is this the same download as the one in the link?

Go here and download the Mobile checker tool. It will verify your card can take the newest driver and download the full for you.

if your not running 64 bit just go to www.amd.com and up in the right corner go down the list.

NOT TRUE I HAVE A NEW LG TV WITH DIVX certified IT WILL NOT WORK WITH XVID.
IN THE COMPUTER IF THE CODEC OPENS THEM BOTH IT DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE THE SAME
THE PROBLEM WITH AMD IS THAT THIS IS VERY SAMLL AND VERY LATE
