Logitech G25 Shifter?

Hello everyone,

I have a G25 shifter which is broken due to a snapped potentiometer which broke after modding, and trying to put the unit back into the casing :S
Do any of you know if i can purchase these off Logitech, or another third party?

Anyways, i was wondering if anyone was selling a new or used one- as long as it works! preferably in Australia, but im open to overseas sellers if the price is good.

Shouldn't this be in the BST section?

yeah the shifter has two pots and a microswitch. One pot is for the x axis motion and one is for the y. The combined position of the two determines the gear its in. The microswitch allows you to select reverse from what would normally be the sixth gear position.

no reason it can't be repaired. I might be able to find the pot you need if you can snap a few pics and your handy with a meter.

You might have to give it back to Logitech and get it fixed if they do fix like that. But it's going to come with a price.

And G25 parts aren't sold anywhere separately. Unless an unlucky guy like you has broken the pedals or the wheel and is selling just the shifter. :/

From the research Ive done, the Pots for the g25 are impossible to find, the shifter is out of warranty and i doubt logitech will repair a failed attempted mod.

First off, Theres no such thing as a pot that can't be replaced, its to exspensive to engineer the damned things. With some close up pictures and measurements, I am sure we can find you a suitable replacement.

If however you wish to sell you part, as Logitech is no longer repairng these units. I would grety appreciated purchasing your motherboard out of the wheel unit. In fact I would consider buying the whole thing for a reasonable price. My motherboard died on my unit last night and I have 3 options.

Used g25 for parts
New g27
Make my own motherboard.

I am seriously considering option 3.
