Is this the right Displayport adapter?

Have one 6870 and other will be picked up in the next wk, but need an adaptor! Was wondering if this will work for my cards?

Tell us what you are trying to connect and what genders they are (male or female), then we can tell you if it is what you need...

check the AMD site for the list of approved adapters.

Here is a link:

http://support.amd.com/us/eyefinity/...y-dongles.aspx

this adapter is listed for single-link DVI support, 4th down the lsit.

If it doesn't work, RMA it, or hit up AMD for thier list being faulty. "Random" cursor corruption is NOT an adapter problem.

I've read post about people tweaking some of the more simple adapters but I remember posts stating with no usb it may have issues.

I just bought the dell one but doesn't it have to be dual link for 3 monitors? Sorry I'm no pro but if you want to be sure it'll work I'd get one of these two.

If you buy the other, let us know if it works.
