System Specs

Moving Up from on-board Audio but no PCI Slot and don't want PCI-e X1

I need better audio as compared to the on-board chip

Mobo = MSI NF750-G55
Speakers = Logitech Z-340

I have a SB Audigy 2 PCI card but there's only one PCI slot on the mobo and that will be covered over when I go SLI

Any suggestions ?

I had a similar dilemma due to the lack of open slots because of my SLI tendencies and I settled on a Musiland Monitor 02. A better sound card will probably make no real difference on the Z-340s, though. These speakers are pretty meh.

if you don't want pci or pci-e then i think your only other option is USB but I'm not sure those are much better than onboard...

maybe sth like this? :

Then use a USB sound card. Try SoundBlaster X-Fi HD.
