While I have no major issues with this thread, let try to keep it somewhat F@H/Tech related. For completely off-topic banter use General Nonsense.

Okay cool!

Did you know that you can fold -bigadv while playing black ops? I had to get some gaming in and im playing black ops while folding -bigadv

Bigadv has about 7 hours to go so it should finish tonight. Im also going to apply my mx-2 here when i get pissed off enough at black ops

Looks like my PSU should be here on tuesday the 11th

Well i figured out i can play black ops easily while still running my -bigadv, and guess what, it drops my PPD maybe 1k. My first GPU PPD drops about 2k but thats it. I just played zombies all night on black ops. I found some sweet glitches on the map "five" where you climb up a window and jump to the table and no zombies can touch you

I also managed to get a mod where i don't have to complete any of the campaign and i have everything unlocked Also got a mod where in zombies now most of the time you all die because you run out of ammo at further levels; if im the host, that problem is gone All i need to do is push the letter p and we have unlimited ammo and you never have to reload I only do this with private matches though. So if you wanna go far in zombie mode add me on steam and ill show ya how

I love my i7 rig Just thought id share that all with you if i haven't enough :P while playing black ops and having chrome open and all that jazz, my PPD only dropped 1k! Gosh this thing is simply a beast Now i need some upgraded gpu's and i'll be set!

Oh and im 95% complete on my first -bigadv unit and it's got about 3 hours till i drop my first big load, wooot!

EDIT: I almost forgot to change my TIM! Should i change it tonight or wait till tuesday when i have to tear the rig apart for the new PSU? I want to wait and just leave this thing folding away and tear it apart when i know i need too for the PSU. But i feel like seeing that i7 again

EDIT #2: How are 465's for folding? I could possibly try picking up some of the 465's with the black PCB's that can be unlocked to 470's. If i can't get ones that will unlock how much PPD do normal 465's get? I could save $100 bucks by going with 465's. Brand spankin new even! Check out these galaxy 465's for $144.99

Yeah, there are tons of games that don't get hurt too badly by running F@H on the side... on the CPU anyway, the GPU client will cripple performance, though. You'll run into the odd game or two that will run like shit, but they don't come up too often.

Yeah i was very shocked by the slight hit it took. Even gaming wise i couldn't even tell anything else was running in the background. Ram usage was very high though, it was in the 5 gigs. Im glad i went the 1366 route so i had 6 gigs ram

Also do you know what 465's score for PPD? I hardly seen ANY talk about 465's here.

EDIT:Anybody interested in seeing a 2600k folding?
http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...-w-pics-2.html

EDIT: Look's like i dropped my first -bigadv work unit last night! Check out that points for today so far Time for my 24hr avg to start increasing so i can get that crazy folder badge!

Thats a sweet bonus you got for the bigadv. Hopefully I have mine running about by about Wed next week, provided I receive it this weekend, or Mon latest.

If you get it today or tomorrow it shouldn't be very hard at all to get it going since you already have all your components

As soon as you get your -bigadv rig running your gonna be all over me with your points! I really needa do something if i want to stay ahead of ya

I'm gonna be super busy this weekend so even if I get tit on sat, I doubt I'll be able to put it together quick enough. Setting it all up will take me about 3-4 hours since I have to set up the liquid cooling too

I'll probably place pump and radiator on my desk next to the test bench. I'll stick the radiator down with some double sided tape.

Nothing like ghetto modding there Oh i just forgot that i had my itouch also! After i sell my old PSU or a gpu i need to order that backplate and digitizer for 20 bucks, then sell my itouch for probably 100 bucks easily

So 100+100 for my gpu's+40 for psu is 240, that's one card right there and if i do make a little money on a side job doing something here this weekend that could be my second card hopefully

After all that, i think you really would deserve a crazy folder badge.

He's gonna be putting out about 75k points every 2-3 days. That'll definitely get him the Crazy folder badge, since you need 25k PPD to get it.

I'm gonna loose my Crazy Folder badge soon for a few days until I set up the new rig.

Oh yeah, the 920 is enough to give me my badge the way it is. I just took my h50 off and applied some mx-2. Also upon entering BIOS i managed to change up 2 things. BCLK to 201x21 now, and vcore to 1.32V. Im trying to get 4.2 stable, as i just looked at some posts and 4.2 should bring my TPF down about 3 minutes, and bump my PPD up to 36k.

Do all the experimentation and everything and when you get a stable OC let me know. I'll just copy off your settings to OC my 920

Hehe yeah that way you can get going and make me loose points trying to get stable and then you can just clock and go!

4.2 stable, no go. I need to go change VTT voltage though.

I like clocking 1366 their is so many things to change, and i like a challenge

If you manage a 4.2 stable on the H50, I'm hoping for a 4.4 or 4.5 w/ my RASA. Lets see though....my ambient is a lot warmer than yours, because you have the window.

Window is actually closed right now. It's snowing out and blowing right in my window. I had to wake up and shut it last night.

The biggest thing is getting it stable. So far i can't run IBT for more than a minute without restarting.

I'd say to get the most max clocks you can get with it being completely stable with IBT/Prime95 etc, and then reduce it by 200Mhz. This way you'll never worry about instability if a variable changes, and it'll also be better for the processor.
