G.Skill enlarges product portfolio of its DDR2 series

G.Skill, a leading memory manufacturer from Taiwan launches two new modules:

The G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBNR completes the choice of products of the DDR2-800 - series.

It will be available as a 2048 MB dual kit (2x 1024 MB), with latency timings of 5-5-5-15.



This F2-6400 memory module offers the possibility to all-round users to take advantage of the new DDR2-modules at a reasonable price-performance ratio. As always with G.Skill the visual effect is not neglected and therefore the heatspreader will be coloured in bright green.

The G.Skill F2-8500PHU2-2GBHZ – a DDR2-1066-RAM – is likewise designed as a 2048 MB dual kit (2x 1024 MB), with latency timings as low as CL 4-4-4-5. These latencies signify that the module currently has to be recognized as the fastest high-end memory available worldwide. The heatspreader will be coloured in black.

Furthermore G.Skill henceforth provides an optional deluxe – packing in the form of a wood– or a tin-box – as for example the F2-8500 will be offered in such a deluxe-wood-box.
