Colorful Announces iGame GeForce GT 440 Series Graphics Cards

Colorful, one of the biggest NVIDIA graphics card suppliers in Asian market, announces two GeForce GT 440 models - iGame440 1G Ymir-U and iGame440 1G Buri-Slim. Both of these two cards are based on the same PCB solution, but with different coolers and clocks.

iGame440 1G Ymir-U has better performance, it uses the "shark" design on the cooler, which with pure cooper base and nickel plated heat-pipe, providing better thermal and 3D performance. The clock is setting at 850/3800MHz (core/memory), comparing to the reference edition 810/3600MHz, iGame440 has about 5% improvement.

iGame440 1G Buri-Slim is a single slot graphics card, uses Aluminum Wire Drawing on surface of the cooler shell, the speed of the PWM fan is 500-3000rpm, so that it could ensure the low noise level even in full-load. The clock of this card is setting at 810MHz/3600MHz.

Colorful says that these two cards will be exhibited in CeBIT2011 with other Colorful's products during March 1-5, and their booth is in K15, Hall 14.

Asian market? According to their website they sell to China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Iran. I'd hardly consider that the Asian market.

That one card looks like the original 8800gt.

It didn't say they sold to the whole of Asia did it? whats the point you where making?

Really not feeling anything needed in the 5 series below the 560 TI, performance wise they're not really much of an improvement over the 4 series.

This is the exact same reason I haven't upgraded from my GTX 470, there is little point these days as the "next gen" barely represents a 20% improvement over the last gen. I am defo skipping both ATI and NV current gens and possibly even the next if again we see just 15-20% improvement or until my card can't play everything that I want to play maxxed out.

I really dont see the need to put fancy coolers on graphics cards that would be eligible for branded oem pc / workstations, or low power consuming htpcs.. I doubt they would overclock it for their spreadsheets or movie playback..

I agree the single slot design would (should) be more than efficient enough.

I guess you never though that maybe I was interested in buying their products?
Now allow me to retort. What's the point you were making?

I guess you take the whole of Asia as your Asian market, you take the suppliers of graphics cards there, and even if Colorful doesn't sell in most of the countries (though they do sell in China, probably the biggest national market in Asia) the are still one of the biggest suppliers in the Asian market. Simple.

GOD, now I'm sorry that I even brought it up. I didn't realize that there were so many Colorful lovers in the world. Once again I repeat, I was interested in their products and hoped that maybe they would be sold in Taiwan.

I apologize wholeheartedly to all of you and I promised to give penance.

Selling in China alone is enough to become "one of the biggest NVIDIA graphics card suppliers in Asian market".

the red and black one looks like an Asus ROG card...why a dual slot low end card it just makes no sense. i barely see why the GTS450 came out dual slot. 8800/9800GT gave similar performance in single slot i want steps forwards not sideways half ass backwards

Too much effort for something with only 4 ROPs. A GTX 560 Ti has 32, and even my Mobility Radeon HD 5650 has 8.
