hi need some help with my 5970

hi i am having a problem with my computer when i use computer with ati 5970 temprature get hight and cards stop working tenmp goes to 105.

i am using in ASUS P60T PCB PROCESSOR I7 INTEL

POWER SUPPLY 900W

can any body tell me where is the problem??

same cards when i use in other pc works fine

1st - clean your cooler fins for the card - make sure they are clear and ensure your case/card has sufficient airflow, report back temps

edit: you can remove the pastic shroud for the card to aid cleaning

but card is working fine on other computer.and from this computer if i stop activity and stop using card temprature comes normal at 45 but during cross fire activity temp goes to 105

Maybe one card is suffocating the other. Is the other computer crossfire as well? Have you seen better temps with the case open?

Also, do you have some sort of fan control utility? Maybe you're accidentally limiting the fan speed.

yes on other computer with cross fire works perfect
i am using catalyst cc to control fan and on both computers using same

and i tried even with 1 card but still heating

If your cards both work fine inside one system, but overheat in another system it's very likely that it's an air-flow problem.

Put the cards inside the 'problem' computer, leave the side panel open and blow a house fan at the open part of the pc...
