Corsair Unveils Flaming Red Force GT Series SATA 6 Gb/s SSDs

Corsair's best memory modules come under the Dominator line, the best Dominator modules are marked under Dominator GT, with their distinctive flaming red heatsinks. Corsair is looking to extend the "GT" marker even to its SSDs, and is ready with the Force GT line of 2.5-inch SATA 6 Gb/s SSDs. As you can see, the flaming red product scheme is carried over. Driven by the latest SandForce SF-2000 series controllers, Force GT offers read speeds of up to 520 MB/s, and 500 MB/s write speeds. It is available in number of capacities in the higher quadrant. At least the 240 GB model will be launched very soon.

OK, so the era of more than 500MB/s is getting ready to start! Cannot wait for some test between the latest Corsair, OCZ, G.Skill, etc all over 500MB/s

I guess you can call a product whatever you like, but if I saw something "flaming", I would expect it to have some fire or flames on it. It's really just Red Corsair.

As did I

No hardware should have the word "Flaming" in the tittle of it anyway.

For obvious reasons and underlying reasons

But it is Corsair and they suck donkey ballz

Wait what are you sarcastic, ironic, trolling or unknowing? Seriously, I can't see the difference anymore.

I've seen 378MB/s on my SSD connected to a 6Gbps port, and topped off at 178 MB/s on my 3Gbps ports.

Re: Corsair Red Force GT Series

Is this Solid State Drive a SLC or MLC?? I hope it's a SLC model because it's last longer and faster than MLC.
