Need help with broadband choice

Ok let me put it this way i have a xbox 360 and i want to be able to play on the net. I need help on chioses because i have no clue wats adsl adsl2 is it wireless, is cable better for my needs and speed etc. If u can help and explain for me ill be happy, Also can u help me with a plan and usage because ill be playing at least 4 hrs a day if thats possible just say. And i am willing to pay $100 a month for a plan or cheaper excuse my english if any mistakes. Thank u radeon747

System Specs

If you can spare the cash cable is a much better choice in general, higher more consistent speeds with better pings at least here in the US.

Any internet can be wireless as long as you have a wireless router or gateway

Thnks how much usage would i need because i found a plan fom iinet adsl2+ for 500gb on peak and 500g off peak for $100 that would be plenty right.

I am planing to get a plan in the next few days if not tomorrow so explain to me wat the cache is with adsl2 bla bla bla.

Also iam using a sh!ty optus wireless broadband prepaid just for forums and surfing and its costing me $100 exacly a month.
