I'm not as good as other people at suggesting hardwares yet but since you could try these boards:
http://au.shopping.com/2-x-pci+paral...a1156/products

For printers and etc using parallel port there's one of these solutions:
1. Motherboard with parallel port
2. Motherboard and a PCI to parallel controller card
3. Scrap the idea of parallel port and connect using USB if you can (Unless the hardware doesn't support using USB or other issues)

As for server board... Have a look at http://www.maximumpc.com/article/new...r2_motherboard, and EVGA is selling it for ~600 (http://www.evga.com/products/moreInf...%20Family&sw=5)

Usually build my own, but in case such as this I like Supermicro SuperServers. Motherboard + case + power supply, and heatsinks depending on the model.

Here's one I built with a 7046A-T, Adaptec 5805 and Intel Quad-port NIC:

Other SuperServer models include motherboards with LSI SAS RAID controllers onboard. Note that RAID-5 sometimes requires an upgrade "button". As well, redundant hot-swap power supplies.
