Dumb flash drive questions....

Sorry, but now I exclusively use flash drives to install windows ect, much faster than disc. Fastest drive I could find within my price rang (I had to buy routers ect too this time..) was a Patriot quad channel rage, and I really needed the 16gb version. Only 31can, worth it? How does it compare to an ozc rally2 4gb, my last drive? Got impatient, don't want to wait until friday to know!
Edit: it's the Rage Quad model... I know there's faster, but how fast are these?

I'm still using Lexar Lightning II 4GB for USB installs. This drive is crazy fast for USB 2.0 drive. Otherwise Patriot Xporter XT drives. Very fast (about the same as Lexar) and with lifetime warranty.
Mine broke down 3 times and each time i got a new one

It might give me an idea AsRock, but probably only if you use a usb 2 interface, I don't have 3 yet. Would kind of like to know how long to write an 8gb dl dvd image to it. I'm hoping it will speed up win7 install time as well, but guess I'll have to try that one for myself!

Wow, yeah, that's pretty nice. This drive is only rated for 25mb/s, so I probably won't get quite as good of speeds. That's a nice little drive for the price! I'm just drooling over this one, my fantasy flash drive: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=58373&...acture=Patriot Someday maybe!

Wow, almost wish I'd seen that price before now. I'll have to wait another month now as I'm tapped out again.... but that 32gb supersonic rocks! Hope another sale like that comes up, as I'd probably pull the trigger on that one. I think for now my little 16gb xt rage quad should do the job.

Great, my bank messed up my transfer, and now they don't have any 16gb models left in stock. So I got sent a "partial shipment". I have to wait and see if I get a 2nd shipment. I never get to have nice toys.....
