Sapphire 6850 toxic edition change signature=bricked card?

Hello sorry for my english but i'm spanish

I try to change the limit overdrive with rbe bios editor 1.28 by method 1 by rbe file what i extract of MSI R6850 CYCLONE like that http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/8...24.101125.html and inject that signature in the original bios file adquired from gpu-z 1.53 of 6850 toxic edition VER013.010.000.009.000000
without changing anything more and then , i flashed with atiflash 3.86 and result in a brick

Then i try the method 2 of rbe then i put the limit of gpu overdrive in 1000 mhz and left the memory default limit at 1200 mhz without anymore changes ,flash with atiflash 3.86 and another brick

Can tell me somebody why the card bricks ,i don't understand?

Toxic edition is not the same PCB as the reference design card. Just look at it, it's bigger, and has better voltage regulation. Flashing a another BIOS is never going to work for that card.

If you want to overclock it, just use Afterburner, or Trixx.

But i'm not flash with another bios than the toxic edition i only tune the signature by rbe bios editor. And in the manual of rbe i understand that can take signatures of another models like 6950 too. I don't understand correctly?

can't use Trixx or AF because i'm affected by the problem with bfbc 2, punkbuster with trixx afterburner that makes pc frezees with sound loop every 15 minuts there a lot of threads talking about

Yeah, overdrive is affected by AMD's new restrictions, just as fan settings and clock table setting (powerplay). If you want to use overdrive instead of 3rd party tools for overclocking, maybe you should try the most recent RacerX unlocker.

i tryed and the overdrive dissapears of ccc.may be i do anything wrong but i doubt
i set the min the max values of 2d and 3d and the desired but the overdrive deissapears i delete the powerplay reg entry and it appears again
Can i do anything more or do anything wrong?
but the version i try is the 0.11 and i see you released a new version 0.14 i go for it

i have tried the new version and i see this version autodetect the frequency values and the model but the performance tab of catalyst 11.2 still disapears the key introduced in the registry is for 6850 or 6950
the mine is 6850

Pd: the Tesselation and MLAA controls was gone and not comeback , i reinstalled the driver again previous deleting all are into [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000] and nothing change i'm still without these controls.

ok but this make driver reach de card an don't boot windows but when i extract the signatures of 6850 msi cyclone and inject in my 6850 toxic or better than when i used the 2nd method moving the sliders the pc don't boot i the only thing i see is a very black screen on says no signal

Why brick the card?
bios corruption?
The signature now is checked to verify the bios integrity , isn't it?
