Awesome review! Kind of pricey for a 460 watt unit but very much worth it for being passive. X-Series is so far the best PSU I've used to date I think they have the ability to go passive with PSUs with higher wattage, my current PSU's fan hardly even turns on when benching or gaming.

I guess since it's specially designed to be fanless, you have to fork out some cash. Plus it's built like a tank and performs like one. :P

The problem is what type case is this for other then a bottom mount mid-tower; while more in line to say a mini tower, but as of yet those aren't the norm. A standard top mount more often has such tight clearance above it would just trap heat.
The 400W in a media enclosure or a Silverstone SUGO (lanbox but a party why) where it can sit and have a vented top panel would be a good fit... more often a mod you'd do on your own. To me a 400W is all they need just for HTPC use, worth $ and has the most merit. The 460W I can't think of why you'd pay extra... the two 6-pins? Really, I wouldn't care for fan less operation when the video card(s) make even more ruckus and heat!  Very limited but would be nice in the right build. I splurged and got one of these for myself a while back. Runs my GTX 460 1GB and i5750 with no issues. I feel the back vent and it's no warmer than any other PSU I've ever had; plus it's dead silent (not even any electrical buzz/whine)!
