[QUOTE=theoneandonlymrk;2255782]with more volts thrown about then makes any sense fully loaded my pc says it uses over 90 amps,
/QUOTE]

if you read that from the GPU-Z sensor, then thats just the amps the GPU is drawing. its not related to what your whole PC is drawing at all.

nah i ment my mobo's guru soft says the pc is pulling 90 amps, i didnt think that was all either as id have 4hdd 1dvd and most of the 5870's power on top of that plus 2xpumps and 9 fans and bits and bobs(A lot).

all i was mummbling was its probably either too much heat (mines not keen on over 63) or i too would still think his cards somehow not getting enough juice despite the 2 psu's, could it poss be the mobo not giving up its correct 75 watts of power? would/could that happen.

i think the power is why mine wont go that bit higher as its not temps even my vrms dont get above 75, gpu never over 63, but i cant put any more then 1.32 volts on it anyway AB limit

His power delivery is not optimal, but is powered a GTX 260 just fine and I think he even overclocked it and had no issues. If i had this problem I would grab a GTX560 Ti and a 650wTX corsair and call it a gaming day. A good power supply will last for 2-3 builds which for me is 5+ years.

If a return/RMA is not possible that's definitely and option. I have heard a few great success stories from the baking and re TIMing.
