Help need a piece.

On my htpc, I have a 9800 gt, you know that little piece that screws into the card, that you screw the dvi cable into on either side of the dvi port, yeah I'm missing one of those. Anyone know how I can get one?

The little DB Post that holds the cable(DB Connector Thumb Screw)... Is that the thing you need.
Spoiler

Maybe, off an old card laying around or someone who has a dead card... that wants to get rid of it.
Off of a dvi or vga adapter.
Someone here, at TPU, can mail you one, if they have an extra?

Or, buy them.
RR Data Telecom or some electronics supplier near you.

Edit:
Or, even buy a new video card at a real cheap price: Zotac ZT-20202-10L GeForce GT 220 Video Card

Looks the same, but when I compared them, the card's DB Post seems to have a shorter height and different thread size(looks to be a fine machine thread, maybe metric M2 or M2.5).

That is why I did not recommend the motherboard stand-offs. Did not want the OP to cross-thread the DB Connector Thumb Screw.

Did you actually read the previous posts?
Are you at home watching MacGyver re-runs?

Why on earth would you recommend that someone do something that is not correct... when the correct option is available.
Looks the same and fitting correctly are two different things.
The OP could end up needing a new DP post on the adapter/cable they are using, if it cross-threads or strips.

Sorry, but, it irks me to no end when someone gives cr*p advice.

@ the OP> Do it the right/correct way; don't be doing a MacGyver on it.
