This is game related. I assume most of the members play/purchase games in some fashion or another.

Q : When you buy a video game, what affects your purchase decision the most?

A1 : Manufacturer hype and screenshots (pre-release)
A2 : Site/Magazine Previews (pre-release)
A3 : Site/Magazine Reviews or Awards (post-release)
A4 : Forum discussion / User reviews
A5 : Combination/Other (Post Comment)

I think it would be interesting to see what people use as their main basis for purchasing games.

Candidate 1:

"Would you / Do you invest in tech stocks?" ... options: "Yes, I'm optimistic about the world economy, will invest","I already own shares, and wish to keep them", "already own shares, wish to disinvest", "You gotta be kidding me"

Candidate 2:

"Does it matter who makes your hardware, or where it gets made"...options: "It doesn't matter as long as the products are good and stay good for long", "It matters, I'm selective with where it gets made", "It matters, I'm biased toward some companies", "Things were better in the '80s (Comment)"

..more as I come up with.

All reviews and stats, YES, 6 months but it varies, 2, Cable, No, Yes.

Also, more questions so people can provide the 'Maybe/Perhaps.' and 'I don't know.' answers. This would make any review more realistic and complete. Uh-huh.

What is your opinion on the future of GPU computing?

1. Nvidia's CUDA will gain ground fast becoming a standard much like Microsoft's proprietary DirectX
(CUDA will become so popular that ATi will eventualy adopt it)
2. ATi's Stream technology will gain ground eventualy reaching on par performance with the CUDA api.
3. OpenCL will disolve both, being hardware agnostic will be the developer's choice
4. Larabee will have a strong saying on this whole afair.

Multiple choice poll:
What do you want from your next graphics card?

1. nvidia's CUDA acceleration
2. nvidia's PHYSX acceleration
3. AMD's Eyefinity Feature (ability to use more than 2 monitors on one card)
4. AMD's (enter AMD specific feature)

I've left a blank and haven't worded it perfectly (I'm very tired), but you get the idea. Each manufacturer has different "features" that people may be influenced by. This covers whether someone wants video acceleration, gaming specific features and/or multi-monitor setups.
