Best fans for the Corsair H70 ?

I am going to upgrade from the stock corsair h70 fans.

What are the best/recommended fans for it`s radiator?

Many users say get the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15 1850rpm... so I want suggestions

I want the best cooling / noise ratio

Aren't those the fans that are either out of stock or just plain old sold out everywhere?

With the fins so close together, it is going to take quite a bit of fan to be better than what is sent with the unit. No matter what you get really, noise levels will be about the same or greater if you swapped fans for better temperatures.

Agreed.

I ditched the stock fans and moved to over to two Cooler Master Sickleflow fans (2000 RPM) on my H70, and no decrease in temps ensued, and the fans themselves were actually significantly louder(was making a whistling sound because the fans where blowing air super quickly through the ventilation holes) until i attached the adapters that lowered the fan voltage and slowed them down.

I ran a Scythe Gentle Typhoon (1450 RPM) fan when i was using an H50 (also used it on my Megahalems) and it was an awesome fan, but as said, they're pretty much nonexistent(especially the higher RPM ones) on major online retail sites.

I've tried many fans. You're going to be hard pressed to find a "quiet" fan that will outperform the stock H70 fans. They may whine a lot, but they produce a lot of static pressure. I would stick with the stock fans until you can grab some of those scythes, but they are right; they're sold out almost everywhere. At least, everywhere I've looked.

I run a coolermaster R4 on push and an AP15 on pull. Both have similar static pressure, the AP15 being more durable but pretty blah looking. I have them on a ypin and fan controller for noise control.

There seems to be over 500 AP-15's in stock at Aquatuning : http://www.aquatuning.us/index.php/cat/c277_Scythe.html
