Green House Intros Encryption-Enhanced PicoDrive Secure USB Flash Drives
Japanese company Green House unveiled PicoDrive Secure, a new series of compact USB flash drives that feature 256-bit AES data encryption. Measuring 65 (W) x 19 (D) x 8 (H) mm, and weighing just 11 g, the drives use older USB 2.0 interface. To keep data safe, the drive also features a password-based lock function that lets you switch from no access to read-only access, and full-access. The security comes at a price, however, with the 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB variants being priced at US $160, $230, $300, and $355, respectively.

That's a bit insane price tag for an USB 2.0 drive. For this price it should have AES encryption, made of stainless steel or aluminium and be water proof. So it can really carry sensitive data in all conditions, be it security or durability.

This can only be secure enough for a 3 year old child, anyone else will get to read this USB if found.
Especially with RSA keys that was hacked and used against everything/one incompetent and normal people as well. So this is flawed before it starts. |
