Only one temp sensor for that model

8 Cores @ 19 Celsius

= CNQ Enabled

So, 3.2GHz is the closest to stock clocks we can get

of course i noticed c&q was enabled but even a phenom II 940 with c&q enabled running at 800mhz on good air doesnt run much below 30c at ambient of around 21c

I think you need to add 10C on those 19C, same as with the Phenom II.
And I doubt the ambient temp. was below 19C.

?? a phenom II 940 will idle at around 29c on air with ambient of about 21c with c&q enabled (which drops to 800mhz) the 1100t also idle's abit cooler, so for an 8 core cpu to idle at 19c if thats correct is very impressive (obviously we dont know if that was in a case, and what cooler was running)

by the looks of it tho the 8 core bulldozers seem to have a default clock of at least 3.2ghz looking at that screen shot.

Not worth it's own thread so I'm gonna hijack this one with some packaging.

probably just shiny plastic, think of how expensive metal packaging would be

Sure, FX...let's just hope AMD doesn't ruin the name. We need more benchmarks fast...enough with the PR crap.
I'm still aiming for the FX-6110.

But if they are going all out with packaging, it gives me a boost of confidence that what's in the box will be something special.

You can't idle at 19C if ambient is 21C that's what I'm trying to say. Phenom II core temperature reading is off by around 10C, that's why I said you need to add ~10C to the core temperature. So in this case it's those 19C + 10C.

Nope, they fixed that

ambient is unknown but I am guessing 15-17*C is ambient or they are shooting cold air in the case but I don't know

Well it isn't fixed on Thubans, since I'm getting lower temperatures on cores than my ambient (which is impossible).

Anyway back OT, all we need now is some numbers to show the performance.
