I reread your post and you arent saying every new game have bigger size than 8GB, just that they can have.

But why i would like to compare to Xbox is because it has just that size limit of 9GB which is pretty close to 8GB.
So the games they produce for Xbox they can produce for Nintendos 8GB memory sticks as well.
