Deus Ex: Human Revolution, preview build leaked.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news...Impresses-Fans

Nothing much to say but the preview build was leaked. Apparently very playable and completable with plenty of hours of play time.

As with all of these sorts of news, its just news so no links to downloads or screenies or videos or anything like that. Very surprised no one posted this up on tpu.

And now we wait for the masses that are going to download it play it then claim they will buy it. And those that think the others are stealing, and those that think that they aren't stealing via some convoluted means of logic.

Some are saying the leaked build is a marketing ploy but anyway the leaked build isnt the full game.

One thing that bothers me is that this is a prequel but the environment and all feels much more futuristic than in the original Deus Ex. Unless different cities were evolved in a different way...

Qubit missed this one for his thread lol. I just think his thread needs a rename and more info posted about the game :P.

How ever i think i will skip this as the only real thing it's guaranteed to do is spoil the game when you actually play it.

This is old, it's not the full game, and it's essentially AWESOME.

No need to be arrogant, yes the leak is from the start of the month like i said but i didn't see a thread about it and only found out recently. Its not my fault there was like a few posts about it buried in a thread about the release date from last year.

The leak is playable, i dont want to talk about it because i might get into trouble from a mod but yes its very playable and several sources say its good.

Can't wait for this. Having played both Deus Ex 1 & 2, I have high expectations for this...especially since Squaresoft has been bought out by Eidos and has been working on this game with them.

Yea that's probably a good move on your part. I wanted to test it out, and I did, and then immediately purchased the "Augmented" Edition on Steam. I honestly am glad I did, because if I hadn't tried this game, I most certainly wouldn't have bought it.

I'm not going to ruin my experience with half finished alpha. Deus Ex game is simply too good to be ruined this way.

It's a mostly finished Beta, and had almost no glitches. I loved it. Like I said, I probably would not have bought the game otherwise, but it convinced me. Can't wait to really get into the story

Thoroughly enjoyed Deus Ex 1...the sequel was okay but not all that great. This prequel has a great story arc from all the info that is available...and is the closest version to our own timeline. Definitely a must buy for me.
