Metro 2033 not able to start..???

I just got the game today and installed it. It's a Steamworks game (unfortunately) and just as it was finishing up the install the PhysX installer messed up and crashed or something. I tried starting up the game and came up with this error message:

Anyone know where I can get this file? Or how to remedy this problem using other means other than resorting to a full reinstall?

you didn't reboot after installation, did you?

Try uninstalling nvidia physx and download and install the latest version from nvidia site.

You must reinstall the physx application before you can play it.
