Hi, I'm an alien.

In 2010 I joined the techPowerUp! forum to get in contact with BAGZZlash.
I am coding on my old retro-classic Amiga and needed some details about the radeon-bios.
Yes, my old (often called gaming-computer) is a littlebit pimped ... with PCI and other goodies.
There is a existing radeon-driver but i missed some features and so i started to write my own driver.
BAGZZlash helped me with the radeon-bios and the offsets.
Playing with a 68k(Motorola) CPU on a x86 Radeon-Bios is sometimes confusing big/little endian madness ;-)

Ok, enough from from my alien-work.

My first computer was an Amiga 500.
Did so much disk swapping I busted the disk drive.
Good times.

Ratte, respect for old skool 6502/68K (and similar) CPUs. Nice hobby. Good skills.

Can you now drive a TFT through the DVI port? Superb and amazing seeing the Amiga decoding MPEG. How on earth did you develop your own drivers? Must have taken you a long time and a lot of debugging. Amazing. Skills. Respect.

That was a Britain-only model, so you may have more luck aquiring one.

Its basically a modified A2000 with extras for our market.
The 4000 has the AGA chipset which is nice.

But AGA causes issues with some games. That and some games just plain refuse to boot on an 030 or an 060.
