ATI VPU recovery problem

I have ATI VPU recovery problem.
sometime my monitor freeze for few sec and recovery again and show message on right taskbar that ATI VPU recovery....
what is problem??
plz help

Yes.my screen crash for about 6-7 sec and some parts of the raster image then screen is black for a sec then recover screen and show error

If it happened again ، take photo here

System Specs

Take a look at your card, make sure its fins/fans are clean and can get plenty of air.
Secondly is there a specific application or action that is triggering this?

Not seen that happen since my 2900XT and was all ways due to heat.

Bad idea, puccki. It protects the card if something is wrong (heat, usually).

I think it is heat related, since my 4850 has got an improved cooling and does not have the protection kick in with the same drivers. However I had it too, frequently when I still had the single slot stock cooler applied (back in the day of Catalyst 8).
