Intel Smart Response Technology

Do I seriously have to go thru this process to enable that awesome boosting technology?
I need normal HDD beside SSD?

Got Asrock Z68 Pro3-M btw.

or is it just "awesome" technology, and I could skip whole thing?

I would say I presume so. Or atleast the first 8 steps. After step 8 they seem to start by saying "You could change...". It is just a typical update deal with what appears to have good instructions though.

Just bite the bullet and you'll be through it in no time. Does that sound positive? I was trying to make ya feel better about the process.

I was seriously considering a Z68 board and a i5 with this being one of the features I really thought I liked. Good info to know.
