PCIEx16 2.0 & GPUZ
I am running into a strange problem here. I recently ran Cine bench and the results showed I was getting 16.53 FPS which seems extremely low. I installed GPUZ and it will show PCIEx16 one minute then show PCIEx16 2.0 then it will go back to showing PCIEx16.
I ran cine bench several times always getting 16 or so for an FPS except one time it went up to 46 fps. What could be my problem? Specs are below MSI K9A2 Plat. AMD Phenom x4 940 3.0 4 GB DDR2 Nvidia GTX 465 Windows 7 64 |

The jump between PCI-E 1.1 and PCI-E 2.0 is normal, that is a power saving feature, it should stay at 2.0 when the GPU is under load.
Try looking at the GPU-Z sensor tab and look at GPU usage during the cine benchmark, it might not be using the GPU at all. I don't remember if there is something special you have to do to get it to use the GPU.

Why would cinebench show I only get a fps of 16? Others I know that have ran it show 40 to 50...

Yeah, something is definitely not right there, you should definitely be getting higher than that. Have you installed the latest drivers for your GPU?
