nvm found a gtx460 superclocked on craigslist for $100. is this a better deal?

the price is fine (don't forget there is a $20 mail in rebait, check newegg or EVGA for details)

this is at the same price point the GTS 250 was originally released at, so while it will be an improvement, it will be somewhat marginal.


as for BF3, we don't know the system specs yet. what we do know is that the demo rigs they ran at gamescon used 580's in SLI, and there were rumors that a yet unreleased "gtx595" would be required to max the game (excluding multi-GPU setups) ((side note, your current rig should run fine at low/medium settings; just don't expect miracles))

summary- yes, there is some improvement, but I would recommend you save up for a 6950 or a gtx560 Ti

yeah, thats a better deal, and you can always SLI hack it later with a second one.
