ASUS 6950 DCII 1Gb BIOS MOD!
Well ill joined this forum to tell you this..
I was removing the gpu cooler from the card, asus 6950 DCII 1Gb. I realized it has 2Gb of memory. The memory was just disabled in bios. I flashed my asus 6970 DCII 2Gb bios to it, and it runs fine. And have 2Gb memory in use now. http://imageshack.us/f/51/asus69501gbasus69702gb.png/ it looks this now. Okay so nobody noticed, but here is pictures from the process.

Your screens shows that after mod card is recognized as ASUS 6950:
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/3290/radeon.png but bios u upload change Vendor ID to: 0x0000 - (Apollo, Colorful, Diablotek, MAXSUN, Palit, Peak, Triplex and others) and video card to HD 6970 and what about ram timings? |
