Red X and No Adapters but Still have internet.
Windows Internet Icon shows a Red X even though I am connected to the internet.
Also I can't see my internet adapter. This is my exact issue but the fix doesn't apply to me cause the service is already running. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...b-0dfe07e203c5 Any ideas? This happened right after I installed my FX6100.

I assume you reset the CMOS and reset the bios to load optimized defaults once already?
Also just for giggles, look in device manager and see if you show two processors installed.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver to no avail. EDIT: System Restore to yesterday seems to have fixed it for me.
