As for GPU-z log can you posted here?
You may confuse the idle speed vs full speed in games?
I seriously can't find anything ATI Driver related in Programs and Features
uninstalling the visual C++ files and uninstall the drivers, then restart and reinstall

the log as in the text file?

Yes! the text file...

As for driver name it is AMD Catalyst NOT ATI...

If not in there then i suggest running the latest driversweeper (the new version have a search for AMD Display) & restart than install the new driver

DriverSweeper -->http://phyxion.net/item/driver-sweeper.html

BTW: I have edited my post#25

It's still being like this

I've opened an RMA ticket with XFX now
Hopefully they'll fix it, send me a new one, or a 6770 -fingers crossed-

Isn't the 5770 better than a 6770?

I tried re-installing and I couldn't system restore D:

if it would not be too painful, try a fresh reinstall of your OS and then use known-good drivers or the latest ones then install and run the game again... if it does the same thing, then most likely it's hardware related... could be the GPU, could be PSU, or even some other components causing it...

just my thoughts...

Always do backups on a second HDD or partition it's better than to use system restore shit!
I always disable that features & gain some space back because it never works anyways

I would do a clean (format) & re-install of Windows with the latest drivers like bim27142 said

How do I partition? I don't mind installing my programs again, doesn't take that long
It is only the one game that's messed up, but hopefully a re-install will fix the driver problems

power-play and ulps are AMD's power management functions that clock the gpu down when its not under stress full load and its known to break things

to disable power play all you need todo is use some aftermarket overclocking utility to do a 'touch and setup 2d/3d profiles so it "locks" the clock speed at a fixed rate I use Atitraytools
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=320467
Install ATT (make sure you check software method to read clocks) and then setup automatic overclocking to your liking
for the 2d clocks I would go with 500/1000 for 3d you can use 855/1200
as for ulps you should't need to touch that unless you are getting crashes

Partitions should have been done in the first installation of Windows if you do partitions on your already single partition of windows will loose everything on the HDD but if you got everything backup on DVD or other media or have nothing you wanted to keep then you have nothing to worry about

You can also re-install windows on top of the existing one without formating this way you will not loose anything but sometimes the problem remains or you may have to reinstall some programs over , for them to function again...

Anyhow since you don't know how to partition your HDD & i don't want to go in to all the details on how to install Windows i dig out a video for you

EDIT: Just saw the complete video it doesn't show how to partition
For the partitions when he (in the video) delete the existing one before you click next , click on NEW that is for making partitions & choose how big you want that partition to be
I would make it between 60-80GB since the first partition is for windows
