havent seen these pics anywhere yet and our supplier "Novatech" provided me with some pictures of what is causing the massive harddrive price increase ,ive also been told the prices are going to go up even more.

I want to see pictures like these with factories with the name samsung & seagate on them to understand why hdd from these companies have nearly quadrupled in price allready.

samsung dont make harddrives in thailand, but its the disruption to the supply chain which has apparently caused problems for other companys.

to add to the above post, (DigitalUK's), even if the other manufacturers don't make drives there, they still have the problem of suddenly having to take the demand that would normally have been met by the other companies. This can also cause a shortage of their products as well.
