god skyrimnexus sucks now. Every since CK was released i get 502 and 504 bad gateway errors. Its all because of the excessive traffic on it, but its been going on for a while now, id expect them to fix the servers to accomidate the extra load

Seeing how young he was makes me question my own career. That guy was so busy drawing epic artwork and creating worlds for us to escape to his body forgot to fight cancer.

Anyway what an accomplishment.

@TMM : No one, or their body, "forgets" to fight cancer, perhaps he knew something we didn't and wanted to leave a legacy by doing what he was good at. Don't question your career as it's part of what defines you. What you don't want to forget, cancer or not, is to spend enough time with your family and friends. In the end, they will be all that you have.

On topic : I had to hack a huge room out of my mod because even empty it had so many pillars it was causing stutter on my card.

Of course. My point was what he did for a living made it "easier" for him to get sick. Be it cancer or whatever. Working in a studio is high, HIGH stress. Being the creative brains behind something were creativity can make or break many peoples careers would be mind boggling. If his "vision" was a flop its game over. Millions of dollars lost and lives could honestly be ruined. All because what he thought was cool......wasn't. Also most industry's view artists as disposable. So that's just stress on TOP of stress. He knew that. A lot of professional artists with that kinda job know that. It honestly feels like you are holding the only rope on a bridge that if you let go everyone falls.

Day in and day out he sat in a room and hardly moved and did his best to be creative. What that does to the body and mind is break it down. People burn out mentally and physically. No sir. That poor man never had a fighting chance against cancer.

Watch the video of fallout 3's making. You can hear it in his voice. He doesnt even turn all the way from the drawing table. He sits forward and his arms bent. That man was dedicated. Anyway Ill get back on topic.

Well...what you're saying is certainly plausible and stress can be a killer but you are also making a lot of assumptions. We don't even know what kind of cancer it was or if genetics played a role, if it was his first or third time fighting it, or anything...

Ha! I was able to get at very top of Throat of the World without first passing the test to meet the boss of the Grey Beards!

The 'barrier' is still there, so to get down again I had either to negotiate a safe way, or to fast travel. I chose the latter

Cool! Hey speaking of mining it had been reported here that it was "proper" to stop the animation after 3 hits on the ore then repeat so as to always get 3 ore from each vein. Well it turns out that's not needed--you do always get 3 in your inventory even though you may only see the "added" message on the top left once or twice. Furthermore, equipping your pickaxe and simply attacking the vein until depleted works just the same and is even quicker.

This has gotten me a lot. I split up Armor, Weapons, Ingredients and Misc stuff into separate containers but it still is a pain.

It's just an area (player home) to do things and is far from complete.
Don't worry about the dragon that flies through the walls, he won't hurt you (still working on keeping him home )

Pull the file and rename to Kreij.esp (TPU won't allow esp attachments in posts).
Put it in the Skyrim data directory.
Add the mod using NMM and when you enter the game open the console and type "coc Kreij" (no quotes)
It uses Skyrim.esm and Update.esm

Not to turn this into a Mod-Fest, but I think I want to get my own hands dirty, put my money where my mouth is, etc, etc, ad nauseum. I want to mod a little. I've worked in the graphices arts industry before, so I've got a few older programs, Photoshop, Bryce, etc, and I can probably borrw a friends laptop with 3dMax on it. Where would I look for good tutorials?
