All these bugs you are getting, I've only played 33 hours but in that time I don't believe I've experienced a single bug...

I think you chose the wrong game to play.

Adept I think, now that you mention it. Although I'm finding it a little too easy, but still very fun. I'll probably start another one at a later date.

Can difficulty be adjusted in game?

Because I'm finding it a bit easy too, dragons barely even touch my health bar, hardest thing is actually hitting them with something rather than them doing any damage. ( I just keep running about in a similar pattern to the way they fly about trying to stay behind them)

Yes, at any time, even during combat.

I have no idea what difficulty I'm on; I usually don't bother changing from the default difficulty in games.

I'm curious how news travels so fast in Skyrim. A small village gets attacked by a dragon on one side of the map and then I fast-travel to somewhere on the other side of the map and the guards are already making comments about it.

It's not like there were messengers leaving that small village in all directions to inform everybody.

Random thing I just remembered:

Lydia used to be an adventurer like me. Then she took an arrow in the knee.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a screenshot because I was in the middle of an epic fight and when it was over the arrow had faded

Adding texture packs didn't hit my FPS too bad, maybe 3 - 4 fps at most (and that was going from no texture packs to 1gb worth). Try 2x AA and texture packs and see how it runs, turning AA off though I don't think is worth it, with 2x at least you will still get the effect, with modern resolutions I am usually happy with 2x.

Oooh, just found a divorce mod. Fortunately it's just a script that you run from the console and doesn't involve all the hassle of a real divorce.

you know fast travel isn't actually fast, right? it's actually really slow. it takes about as long as you walking there, not running or on horseback. not that that explains it away, but it's good enough for me someone ran faster than me!

If it's the same way Obliv was (I've not tested), you fast travel at regular run (not sprint) speed, unless you're mounted, at which time it should move at mounted speed.

forgot about that, correct. i haven't timed but i know it's slow... there's no way oblivion was at run speed - i tested myself and often came in hours ahead. though honestly i don't remember any specifics so if you're sure i'll leave that to you...
