Powercolor HD4870 hangs on Windows 7 start-up
Hi guys, I've been having trouble with this card.
It works fine with stock Windows 7 drivers but when I try to install latest ATI Catalyst driver, it hangs on start-up and the Windows 7 logo is like loading forever. |

Hmm have you tried using cccleaner to remove all previous driver's remnants? The signs you posted here are in theory leading towards a bad/dying card. Have another pc/card to test?
