GT430 colors not correct
Hi. I have a GT 430 and the colors are messed up.
THe greens, yellows, and blues come out fine. Whenever there's supposed to be red, it's completely black. I can turn the hue to 9 degrees, but the red becomes green. That's better, because I can tell 'red' from black, but it's not really red. How can I fix this problem? |

are you sure its the video card at fault, and not the monitor/cable to the monitor?

I agree, it sounds like a cable problem vs. a card issue. Tried a different display yet?

Sounds like the red colour is not being displayed. Are you using an analog video connection to your monitor? It could be any these things, in this order:
- Faulty video cable or not seated properly at either end - Faulty monitor - Faulty video card

This video card only has DVI out. The monitor itself is not a problem. The VGA cord that I used to use has reproduced color correctly in the past. maybe i'll give it a go with another card and another cable and see if that changes anything.

you're using a DVI to VGA adaptor, and a VGA cable. either of those could be at fault.

Use a DVI cable if possible. Will fix it.
If not, try a new DVI-VGA adapter. |

Oh I'm not using a DVI-VGA converter sorry it sounded a bit ambiguous. I'll try it with a different card and cable
