Should i update my rig?

Specs in left, i was thinking about getting either a WC setup, or a Z68 or a X79 combo.

X58 is still largely powerful. Unless you find performance to be lacking for what you need.

X79 is quite expensive. $900 basically for entry chip and board. If you want to overclock, watercooling is a must, IMHO. At the same time, it's very powerful for multi-threaded tasks, but as I recommend watercooling, you can imagine that the power consumption is pretty high too.

Z68 is fast, and relatively cheap. It also doesn't need alot of cooling, with watercooling almost being overkill in a lot of situations.

No need on the full upgrade. I just upgraded from a Q9650 @ 4ghz, and my 2600k really doesn't "feel" any faster. If your itching, scratch it with a good WC set-up.

I'd go with the WC setup unless you really have the money to spend...

if you really want, get another GTX580, especially since you have enough juice in your PSU and for the added oomph.
no other upgrades necessary until IvyBridge-E 8 core IMHO (unless you think you can put those 6 cores of SB-E into good use)
