New build can't install OS

Ok I recently put together a new computer build and I am having trouble installing the OS. Basically whenever I start installing the OS the installation gets stuck on a screen and sits there for hours. I am trying to install windows server 2k8 R2. It gets stuck on either the setup loading screen or the screen where i pick which hard drive to install the OS on. My build is a

i3 2120 default intel heatsink
intel h67 motherboard
8gb patriot ram
2x 2tb samsung ecogreen hard drives
1 tb western digital green hard drive
500watt OCZ modular psu

I have tested all of the hard drives and the memory and all of that came back clean. I have tried installing with RAID and without RAID on the samsung hard drives. I have tried installing from cd and from usb. Now I am thinking it is either the image i am using for server 2k8 or posssibly the motherboard/cpu. Anyone have any thoughts on what they think it could be?

Try installing w/ AHCI enabled. Should be giving you the option to preload drivers also.

Ok try this, 1 drive at a time, ahci enabled, and attempt the install from a USB 2.0 port.
