AMD driver issues.

Yeah every time I try to install the profile pack this is what I get . ATI is just PISSING ME OFF ! What the FUCK !

#2 run driversweeper before installing with the new installer

You've got a glitching VB script issue going on by the sounds of things ..

CMD prompt with elevated / admin privileges -> regsvr32 vbscript.dll -> enter

Try again if message reads "DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded" ..

Could try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility "msicuu2.exe" too ..

If nothing works, then I dunno what you did to screw that up mate ..

Thank you so much for your help! I looked up Windows Installer Cleanup on google since my Windows 7 didn't have msicuu2.exe and I found this link http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Pr..._and_Uninstall

That program fixed the bad uninstaller and everything is all good now!

go to the windows folder and delete everything in the temp and prefetch folder

Ok after doing all this I ran that Microsoft fixer once again did it 2 times and finally FUCKING FINALLY the god damn thing installed !

I am fucking sick of ATI and there shit ! If you put out crap like this make god damn sure you can install it over the current crap . Having to do all this SHIT every time just to install YOUR CRAP is giving me a tumor ! WTF ??? ATI get it together how hard can it be ???

not necessarily. they provide a tool that can possibly fix it but it doesn't actually say. it could be a corrupt download, his windows installer got corrupted, or any number of other things.

If they are calling there shit AMD then why is it listed as ATI in my computer ???? !!!!! Folders say ATI ! and AMD !!! GOOD GOD ! But it is fixed finally !

it can be frustrating dude but quite honestly it's not as though they are purposefully making a subpar product. they are doing the best they can, no one is around to do it better. you either buy their stuff, (or nvidia's) or buy nothing... you just need to take a breath and recognize that this technology is pretty damn amazing, and a headache once in awhile to be able to live in this time period using it is well worth it imo.

if it really happens to you that often, you have a problem - not ati or amd, but your hardware. i am sorry but that is the honest truth. there is no way you should have THAT many problems.

Yeah you are right . But I can get really mad . Really really mad at this stuff .
But it is Microsoft's fault here using there fix 2 times did the trick . My DL's are just fine . Once I did that fixer 2 times once trying to fix the installer that failed then fixing the uninstaller that worked ! So yeah maybe my anger was misguided at AMD/ATI when it is clear Microsoft is to blame here !

LOL yeah most of the time is is the TV remote that takes the brunt of my anger I even threw the poor thing at the wall as I was posting here ! !
