Good, cheap 150mm height 775 cooler?

I'm using a CM Hyper TX3 with an OCed Q6700 but it just doesn't cut it.

I'm considering the CM N520 and TT V1 AX. I think the N520 would be better (5 vs 4 pipes) but I really dig the V1 looks.

Any other options that are >150mm in height?

Wouldn't the N520 be better? It has 5 pipes and larger fins. Besides I was looking at tower coolers so that I could point the airflow toward the case exhaust.

Take a look at the CM Hyper 212 Evo. It's the better version of the highly loved CM Hyper 212+. Corsair and Xigmatek also have decent tower coolers in the same price range.

Although the Hyper 212+/Evo, Corsair and Xigmatek units are all around 159mm tall. So you might be in a bit of trouble there...

I think that I could put a 155mm in there but it'd be a very tight fit.

Hi,

I don't know your budget for the cpu-cooler, but isn't a Corsair H40 or Antec Kuhler H2O 620 better if you have problems with the height of the heatsink of cpu-coolers. Otherwise, you can try with a low-profile cpu-cooler such as the Xigmatek Cobra.

I've looked at the water coolers but the prices are through the roof down here. Shops still market them as premium coolers even though there are cheap ones like the Kuhler you suggested; here it goes for the equivalent of 90USD.

The back exhaust is 92mm so even if I went with water cooler I don't think the radiator would fit well. I don't want to expend a lot, I'm just putting a PC together with some spares I had.

I guess I'll go for the N520, should be enough. The TX3 works but I don't feel comfortable with 46C at idle.
