IDTech5 should be on the technology list somewhere, though Rage wasn't a full representation of the engine. To say at least, those that are experienced enough, you can still feel the power of the engine under Rage, gunplay was superb, 3 times better than BF3.

Well I don't see how Skyrim rates a nomination for Technology over RAGE. Great game? yes but there is NOTHING ground breaking in it tech wise if you compare it to RAGE.

Bethesda Game Studio hasn't talked about the engine a fraction of what we already know about IDTech5.
Bethesda's engine will get SDK in January, Rage "soon" but when the SDKs are out will know for sure. |

Skyrim's engine is a fucking abomination and MegaTexture is a neat idea but it alone can't carry RAGE on it's back for tech. Crysis 2 and BF3 I agree with completely in tech.
No idea where BF3 is for audio... |

I agree with all the people that think you're crazy Ruski
 Uncharted 3 is nominated because Naughty Dog uses good programming to make a gorgeous looking game. Naughty Dog also shares it's technology with other studios. |
